Here are the top 10 reasons why I have gained weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. I stopped writing down my points.&lt;br /&gt;2. Going to weigh in became unimportant.&lt;br /&gt;3. Choosing wrong foods at meals.&lt;br /&gt;4. Eating high calorie snacks.&lt;br /&gt;5. Eating out almost every meal.&lt;br /&gt;6. Telling myself I'll start on Monday.&lt;br /&gt;7. Sugar...sugar...sugar.&lt;br /&gt;8. Not planning my meals.&lt;br /&gt;9. I thought I could eat what I wanted.&lt;br /&gt;10. I am ONE POUND FROM GOAL!!! I am so excited! It has been such a wonderful year! Success is a wonderful thing. Now...I have to work to keep it off. Well...a year later (as of yesterday) I am 70 pounds lighter!!! WOW!!! Just to say, "I have lost 70 pounds." seems like a dream. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;The Top Ten Things I Recognize Now That I AM 70 Pounds Lighter:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;10.  Clothes are easier to find.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  9.  My shoes are too big. (who knew your feet would lose weight)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  8.  I don't mind that I have more wrinkles (since they aren't stretched out)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  7.  I don't snore (as bad! ;-0)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  6.  An apple tastes like a piece of candy.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  5.  It is a bit uncomfortable to sit in the bathtub...not as much padding!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  4.  I enjoy walking.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  3.  Charles is so proud of (and for) me.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  2.  I can pass up junk food I used to LIVE for.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;  1.  AND THE NUMBER ONE...I don't want to go back!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000099;"&gt;At yesterday's weight watchers meeting, a recipe was shared. Had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Even lost 1 1/2 pounds over the couple of weeks I was absent from WW Meetings. It has been almost a month since I last left a Weigh Down report, also. I am excited to report that 62 pounds are gone...13 pounds to go to reach that 75 pound mark!! Food is such the center of all of the holiday festivities. I am going to plan some WW menus and finger foods that can satisfy my "need" to celebrate! I know in my heart that it would help me finish "the race" with WW's as well. But, I guess I am most proud that for 20 straight weeks, 14o days...I have kept my focus on my goal...to eat healthy and lose the extra weight that has been dragging me down!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;What I haven't had in 140 days that I thought I could never live without:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;diet coke &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;caffeine&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;McDonald's french fries&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;chocolate: candy, cake, covered donuts&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;unhealthy fast food&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;Shipley's donut holes&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;garlic toast&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;cinammon rolls&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;Well...you get the idea.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;What I have loved the last 14o days that I thought I could never live WITH:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;turnip greens&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;baked fish&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;steamed vegetable&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;an apple a day&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;Sprite 0&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;salads with dressing on the side&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;grilled chicken salad instead of fried&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;water, water, water&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="color:#009900;"&gt;So...on to Week 21! This is Memorial Week-end and cooking out is on the plans. I just looked at my calendar and determined there are 21 weeks before the big week-end. If I can loose at least 1 pound a week, that will be 21 more pounds gone! That would be only 5 pounds away from my 71 pound loss goal!!! But...let's not get too cocky! I will still be over 25 pounds more than I weighed when I graduated! HA!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#000099;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#000099;"&gt;I laugh about carrying my driver's license with a ficticious weight listed. I hope one day to be telling the truth again! Can that policeman not recognize a big (no pun intended) fraud when he sees one. He has lost 81 and I have lost 42. WOW! I can't believe I am 2 1/2 pounds away from losing 40 pounds. This has been the most satisfying weight lose experience I have ever had. Yes, I have lost weight many times...but hopefully this will be the time I learn to keep it off. One thing I have sworn I will do: KEEP ATTENDING THE WEIGHT WATCHER MEETINGS after I lose all my weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;color:#009900;"&gt;OK...my receipe of the week! Stir or whisk until smooth. Stir and cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.&lt;br /&gt;2Reduce heat and boil gently for 5 minutes, stirring often. Mixture should be thick and smooth. Cool slightly, then stir in vanilla and artificial sweetener.&lt;br /&gt;3Pour into a container or jar with a lid. Crawfish (Crayfish...HA) is 1 point for 1/2 cup (2 oz.) It takes a bit of crawfish to make 1/2 cup. I had a small ear of corn, 2 points, and one small potatoe for 3 points. It has been a very sad week. I lost my dad, Clarence Edward Dossett. He was buried in Natchez, MS on Saturday...next to my mom. He was a great dad!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;OK...I guess my post for this week is...you CAN go through emotional events and still stay true to the WW plan. Making a choice to follow the points was made before I found myself hungry...or staring at plates of food provided by precious church friends after the service.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I weighed today...2 more gone! YEA!!! And I can truthfully say I was very satisfied with the food I ate each day. So here are the top 10 things I learned the first week:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;10. You don't HAVE to eat salad for every meal.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;9. Grilled talapia is easy and fast to cook.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;8. Planning each day's meals the night before with Charles was very helpful.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;7. Looking forward to Monday's Weigh In is a motivator.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;6. Eating Progresso soup at the office while others are eating fast food is posssible and very enjoyable.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;5. Being on this Liveit (not diet) even makes me want my house to be cleaner! (Go figure!)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;4. I didn't drink enough water.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;3. An orange at 10:00 am and an apple at 2:00 pm makes my day go by fast.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;2. Measuring food...a must.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;and the number ONE....&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;1. YES...rejoined. I am a lifetime WW member. That means...at one point in my life I reached the goal weight that was designated for my height. I had to stay at that goal weight for 8 more weeks...and thus became a lifer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The advantage is...I never have to pay the initial start up fee. The other advantage is...I could weigh in once a month at no fee as long as the goal weight is maintained...so I guess you know now...I did NOT maintain the goal weight.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here I go again. I am really excited about joining. The program has changed since I have attended.
